Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9th on 1972) is an American actress. Her credits include Emily Ann Sago in the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV series The Tick, Wendy Simms in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was Emily Ann Sago, a teenager, on the All My Children's soap opera from 1988 until 1991. Vassey appeared as a regular actor in the television series Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005, playing the character Dr. Carrie Allen. In the episode "The One Thing You Don't Want is to end up with a Hump" in 2003, in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011), and in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere with Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to 2010, Vassey was a regular character in the role of Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Starting with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to an actor on the regular roster and began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1, 2010, that Vassey would not return for the 11th season of the show. Vassey was in one episode of the season. Vassey, who is married to David Emmerichs (a camera operator) began Neurosis to a T(ee) which is a business that creates and sells T-shirts featuring female-centric slogans. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at the neuroses and worries of women, often relating to relationships.

She played Ainsley Hayes, a character in The West Wing's political drama (2000-2002 (2006)) and also played Det. Calleigh Duquesne in CBS's police procedural drama CSI Miami 2002-2012. Procter was born on the night of October 8th, 1968. She was adopted as a child by William Procter, a general practitioner, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker.
