Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987, is an American journalist and sports anchor. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their daily news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing began after she was granted an pit lane pass following graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made videos about NASCAR were published on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 in 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton after Vincie began high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's mother Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth grade teacher while her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Since her early years, she displayed an interest in journalism. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She was a track and field competitions, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also gave her lots of information. She received a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics department of the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote a senior dissertation on auto racing gender disparity that was centered around female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became interested in the sport once she secured a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her primary influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
