Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born on November 8 85, 1985) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her most well-known roles include her roles in the role of Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand on the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science fiction show Continuum. Recently, she appeared as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is Polish and lived in Poland for a period of time in her ninth grade. She was raised by her uncle, and she went to Jelenia Gora school. In the following years, she attended Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became fascinated by acting. She started her acting career with the 2002 film Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009 she portrayed Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008 she starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular on the TV drama Caprica, with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her next film. In 2012, she guest-starred in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web series, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz appeared as Emily in the show Continuum The actress also appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno, although it was film in 2012, was released globally in the year the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to portray Angela in Volition, a science fiction thriller film. The film came out in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the recurring role of Sandy on the second season of Netflix action film You.
